William (Bill) Belveal, 79, of Fountain Hills passed away on Thursday, April 25, 2019, from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Bill retired from General Motors Corporation in Detroit, Mich. after 32 years of service. He started a construction company in Indian River, Mich. and enjoyed his second career for 10 years. He and his wife, Mary, moved to Arizona permanently in 2001.

He is survived by his wife, Mary; son, Scott (Jennifer); daughter, Barbara Baker Brumback (Mike); stepdaughter, Hilary Swihart; stepson, Todd Swihart; five grandchildren; one great granddaughter and brother, Donald; several cousins, nieces and nephews.

A memorial service will be held at Messinger Mortuary Fountain Hills on Saturday, May 25, at 11 a.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Cancer Society, Fountain Hills branch or the Arizona Humane Society, Campus for Compassion.
