Crystalle (Crys) Yvonne Ebbinga, age 90, passed away peacefully on August 20, 2026 at her home in Las Vegas, NV. She was born on January 23, 1936 in Wall, SD, to the late Rev. Earl B. and Josie A. (née Lee) Adamson. Crystalle, while pursuing her degree at MacPhail College of Music in Minneapolis, MN, met fellow student and love of her life, Gerald (Jerry) R. Ebbinga. A devoted wife and loving mother to her three adopted children, Crys was an accomplished pianist and singer who led worship, directed and sang in choirs, and taught piano and voice. She later served as Director and CEO of the Saint Thomas Child and Family Center in Great Falls. In retirement, she remained active in her church and Fountain Hills community, supporting the arts, literacy, nonprofits, and her beloved family. Crystalle was preceded in death by her husband the Rev. Dr. Jerry Ebbinga, brother Donovan Adamson, and sister Janice Koeshall. She is survived by her three children; Kurtis (Karen), Spencer (Suzette), and Brittanee (Chris) Pepper, as well as seven grandchildren Kohl, Kaden, Koen, Chase, Bailey, Josie and Clementine. A celebration of her life will be held at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, Las Vegas, on September 26th at 1:00 PM. The Reverend Beth Gallen will be leading the service. In lieu of flowers and other gifts, please consider making a donation to the Fountain Hills Friends of the Library.
