Bonnie Tuttle

Posted
Bonita Elizabeth Tuttle, age 74, passed away peacefully from Alzheimer’s Disease on February 14, 2025, in Phoenix, Arizona. Born October 18, 1950, in Kimberly, Wisconsin, with a young talent for art, she started work for Kimblery-Clarke in their design department directly from high school. Bonnie then started her life-long career of residential design and construction around the Fox River area. Bonnie and her family ventured to Fountain Hills, Arizona in 1984, growing her flair for design and forging great relationships. As she constructed her own house in North Heights, Tuttle Designer Homes quickly became a staple of the community, as can be seen in several hundred custom homes not only in Fountain Hills, but statewide, nationwide, and internationally. As Bonnie worked diligently to develop her local community, she also traveled throughout the states and beyond our southern borders to assist abused women and children. Active in several churches throughout her life, as well as Aglow International, Bonnie led many to salvation through her selfless acts of servitude and love for those less fortunate. As Fountain Hills started to feel crowded, Bonnie settled on a few pristine desert acres in the Rio Verde Foothills near Granite Mountain. Even as her continued work and service left her with little free time, Bonnie grew to love cowboy dancing at the Buffalo Chip with friends. Just a few years ago, as Bonnie pondered retirement, Alzheimer’s Disease quickly took its toll. Bonnie required assisted living in a memory care facility, where she was loved by staff and visited often by family. As her memory and life has faded, her family, friends, and colleagues continue to provide great stories of her talent, generosity, and service to her community and beyond. Bonnie was preceded in death by her mother, Margaret Behling; sister, Barbara Westley; brother, Alan Behling; and other family members. Bonnie is survived by her father, Arthur Behling; children, Tommy (Danielle) Tuttle and Corey (Zach) Davis; siblings, Thomas (Sue) Behling, Shirley Behling; Philip (Susan) Behling; Elizabeth “Betsy” (John) Moder, and Dick Westley; grandchildren, Ricky Paruch, Tiffany (Matt) Friedrich, Amber Davis, and Casey Davis; great-grandchildren, Daisy Friedrich. She is further survived by many other relatives and friends.
