McDowell Mountain Elementary School students will get a hands-on science lesson Friday morning, Oct. 2, when educational performer Graham Rogers brings his “Wacky Science” assembly to the school, according to the Fountain Hills Unified School District website.
The interactive assembly uses demonstrations, experiments and student volunteers to teach science concepts including chemical reactions, air pressure, states of matter and forces, according to Awesome Assemblies' website. Rogers has performed educational school assemblies for nearly 30 years and designed “Wacky Science” to reinforce science and STEM concepts taught in Arizona schools.
