Wildfire near Payson, travel with caution

Motorists on State Highway 87 (Beeline Highway) are encouraged to use caution this weekend because of a two-acre wildfire near Hells Hole in the Mazatzal Wilderness, about 10 miles southwest Payson. No structures, homes or other developments are in danger. The Tonto National Forest Service is monitoring the fire by air. Hikers on the Arizona Trail are advised to use caution as they travel through the area.
