Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation in Fountain Hills reports that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Sept. 5, through Wednesday, Sept. 11.
Thursday, Sept. 5
*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown driver struck a parked car in the parking lot of a business and fled the scene.
Friday, Sept. 6
*Deputies responded to the 15000 block of Tumbleweed Drive where a traffic collision occurred when a motorist struck a stopped vehicle while backing out of a driveway. No injuries were reported no vehicles were towed.
*A resident of the 11000 block of Sparrow Lane reported that an unknown subject entered an unlocked vehicle and removed property without permission.
*A resident reported a violation of a court order.
*Deputies responded to Fountain Hills Boulevard and Inca Drive where a reported road rage incident resulted in a traffic collision. Criminal charges are pending.
*A resident of the 14000 block of Grandview Drive reported a violation of a court order.
Sunday, Sept. 8
*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of Shea Blvd. where a subject was trespassed from a business after a verbal altercation with the staff.
*A resident of the 15000 block of Ocotillo Drive reported that an unknown subject used the victim’s personal information without permission to rent an apartment then left a balance in collections under the victim’s name.
Monday, Sept. 9
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Avenue of the Fountains where it was reported that an unknown driver struck a parked car in the parking lot of a business and fled the scene.
*Fort McDowell Police turned over a subject with two Maricopa County arrest warrants to MCSO. The subject was booked into jail on the warrants.
*Deputies responded to Shea Boulevard and Arista Lane for a report that two unknown subjects robbed a victim at gunpoint taking his jewelry and watch. The case has been assigned to detectives for follow up.
*Deputies responded to the 10000 block of Arista Lane for a report that an unknown subject stole items out of a vehicle while it was parked on the street.
*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject broke the window of a vehicle and took items from inside while it was parked in a business parking lot.
Tuesday, Sept. 10
*Deputies responded to the 9000 block of Saguaro Blvd. where it was reported that a subject took the victim’s cell phone off the register counter at a business. The subject was located and arrested. Due to medical issues the subject was issued a criminal citation and released.
*Deputies responded to Del Cambre and El Sobrante avenues for a vehicle collision that occurred after a driver attempted to drift his vehicle around a corner, lost control, and struck a retaining wall on private property. The driver then fled the area. The driver was located and issued a criminal citation.
Wednesday, Sept. 11
*A resident of the 14000 block of Prickly Pear Ct. reported that an unknown subject used the victim’s information without permission to open a utility account in Texas.
*A resident of the 15000 block of Heavenly Vista Trail reported that they invested in a fraudulent crypto scam and lost approximately $400,000.
*Deputies made a traffic stop on Fountain Hills Boulevard at Arrow Drive. A driver was stopped for criminal speed reportedly traveling 61 miles per hour where the speed limit is 35. A check of records revealed the driver was driving on a suspended license. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
