Fountain Hills Friends of the Library is gearing up for its next presentation of Stories in the Hills, calling all storytellers to share their life stories.

The next storytelling event is Wednesday, March 26, and the theme is “A Lesson Learned,” inviting community members to share life lessons in front of a live audience.

Those who attended the storytelling event in October were treated to tales about vacations such as “Newfound love,” “The Twilight That Wouldn’t End,” “Happy Jack,” “An unexpected event during a memorable outing with family” and “A horror make-up show.”

An informal gathering of storytellers and guests, speaking experience is not required. To help with stage fright, a rehearsal will be held Wednesday, March 19, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Community Center Yavapai Room.

To participate, storytellers should submit their story ideas to Carol Kubota at 2ndlifetravel@gmail.com by Monday, March 10, at 6 p.m.

Stories in the Hills is Wednesday, March 26, from 2 to 4 p.m. in the Community Center Ballroom.

Sponsored by Fountain Hills Friends of the Library, this event is free and all are invited to attend.
