The Fountain Hills High School Key Club held a community-wide blood drive at the Fountain Hills Unified School District Learning Center on Tuesday, April 16.
Key Club President senior Katelyn Smout handled the details of the blood drive, showing up at 6 a.m. to set up in the Learning Center. The blood drive ran from 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m., and the Key Club had up to four people donating at a time, compared to two at a time last December.
The last blood drive was only available to students, but community members were invited to donate this time. Minors needed signed permission from their parents or guardians to donate, but community members could walk-in at any time during the drive.
