OPINION — Today, several volunteers came to my house, including the Fountain Hills Fire Department and Girl Scout Troop 3173, to renew my landscaping.
They arrived promptly and worked tirelessly from 8 a.m. until 12 noon on the front and back yards. The Fire Department cut an enormous amount of unnecessary branches from a huge tree, which was an immense job. The Girl Scouts put an equal amount of effort into pulling weeds and helping with many associated chores.
My heartfelt thanks go out to all those who took part in this event; I truly appreciate all their efforts.
