The Fountain Hills Protect Our Youth Coalition is expanding its efforts to help local students stay drug, nicotine and alcohol free, including bringing more prevention education to fifth graders this school year and expanding their Lunch Bunch program.
The coalition works with Fountain Hills schools, families and community organizations to educate young people about substance use and encourage healthy decision-making.
Its work includes school programs, youth leadership opportunities, community events and resources to help parents talk with their children about drugs and alcohol, according to their website.
