The Town of Fountain Hills invites the public to attend a financial town hall meeting from 5 to 6 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 20, at Town Hall in council chambers.
Members of town staff are starting budget planning for the 2025/2026 fiscal year and want to take the opportunity to involve the public by presenting a primer on the how and why of where money is spent on various projects.
Town Finance Director Paul Soldinger will lead the town hall discussion.
“We look forward to engaging with residents and helping them better understand the budget process and how projects are paid for,” Soldinger said. “Our mission is to make the numbers easier to grasp.”
The goal is to help the public better understand the town’s revenue streams, how that money is allocated and where it is spent.
The event is open to the public and residents are encouraged to come and ask questions.
