New natural shade at one Chandler school

Thanks to a grant and some Frye Elementary School partners — the City of Chandler, Chandler High School FFA students and the Chandler Unified School District’s Maintenance and Grounds team — Frye students have helped plant 35 new trees.

Fifth-grade students appeared to enjoy digging in and helping out.

“We can’t wait for the much-needed shade to help keep our campus cool,” Frye staff wrote on the school’s Facebook page.
