Weekly report on calls to Sheriff’s Office in Fountain Hills

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation in Fountain Hills is reporting that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Wednesday, April 16, through Wednesday, April 23.

Wednesday, April 16

*A resident of the 11000 block of N. Indigo Drive reported a violation of a court order.

Friday, April 18

*A resident of the 15000 block of Chicory Drive reported that an unknown subject used the victim’s personal information without permission to open a monthly credit account.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Ashler Hills Drive where a subject was trespassed from a residence after creating a disturbance.

*A resident of the 16000 block of Ashbrook Drive reported that an unknown subject burglarized a vehicle that was parked on the street.

*Deputies responded to the area of Blackbird and Boulder drives where two subjects were involved in a physical fight at the location. Deputies were able to break up the fight.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Palisades Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject assaulted a victim at a business.

*Deputies responded to La Montana Drive and Parkview Avenue for a traffic collision. Deputies report that a driver failed to control the speed of their vehicle and rear ended another vehicle. No injuries were reported, no vehicles were towed.

Sunday, April 20

* It was reported that an unknown subject brandished a weapon at another driver in traffic at the intersection of Shea and Palisades boulevards.

*Deputies responded to the 15000 block of Telegraph Drive where a domestic violence assault incident was reported.

Monday, April 21

*Deputies made a traffic stop at Shea Boulevard and Technology Drive. A motorist was stopped for speed reportedly traveling 75miles per hour where the speed limit is 45. The driver was issued a criminal citation.

*A resident of the 11000 block of Buffalo Drive reported that an unknown subject defrauded money from the victim as part of a fraudulent scheme.

Tuesday, April 22

*Deputies made a traffic stop at Palisades Boulevard and Hampstead Dive. The driver was stopped for not having taillights. A records check revealed the driver’s license was revoked. The driver was issued a criminal citation.

*Deputies made a traffic stop in the 15000 block of El Lago Blvd. A driver was stopped for speeding reportedly traveling 44 miles per hour where the speed limit is 30. A records check revealed that the driver’s license was suspended. The driver was issued a criminal citation.

*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of La Montana Drive for a report of two subjects arguing. Upon contacting the subjects involved,  deputies discovered through a check of records that one of the individuals had a valid arrest warrant. The subject was arrested and booked into jail.

*A resident of the 16000 block of El Lago Blvd. reported that the complainant’s ex-boyfriend was participating in illegal narcotic sales.

Wednesday, April 23

*A resident of the 16000 block of Andrew Drive reported that an unknown subject misrepresented themselves as the representative of a business to obtain money through a fraudulent scheme.

*A resident of the 17000 block of Salida Drive reported that the victim sold a high dollar item to an unknown subject. The victim later found out that the money used to purchase his item was counterfeit and the subject had stolen the victim’s item via fraudulent scheme.
