Spiritual Warfare is the topic of a new Bible study series hosted by the non-denominational Ladies’ Monday Morning Community-wide Bible Study beginning on Monday, Aug. 11.

Author Jack Kuhatschek of the LifeGuide series reminds us the Bible is filled with warnings and instruction on the need to be prepared for daily spiritual battle. We will investigate three crucial questions: Who is our real enemy? What is their plan of attack? How can we defend ourselves and be victorious?

Dec. 7, 1941, and Sept. 11, 2001, are two dates in American history that remind us of the grave consequences of ignoring warning of impending attack.

Christians are in battle daily; yet, most blissfully go about their lives ignoring God’s clear warnings and call to arms found in His Word. Then they are astounded as they find themselves losing their sense of God’s presence, provision, power, purpose and peace; their faith falters and they find themselves running in fear and confusion instead of experiencing the victorious and abundant life God has promised His children.

This is not God’s plan for His people and we will search out the solution to this sad and dangerous state of affairs.

This Bible Study has been digging into God’s Word since 1988 and has experienced God’s manifestation of Himself and His Word, answered prayers and spiritual growth, and has become a strong support group for all who have attended.

All are invited to join us each Monday at 9:15 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the First Baptist Church campus, 10215 N Saguaro Blvd, Room 101. A time of prayer and fellowship follow from 11 to 11:30 a.m. for those who can remain. There is an optional cost of $8 for the study materials.
