Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation in Fountain Hills is reporting that deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, Nov. 14, and Wednesday, Nov. 20.
Thursday, Nov. 14
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that two subjects were involved in an argument at a business. The subjects were both trespassed from the business by the management.
*A resident of the 17000 block of Fontana Way reported that an unknown subject filed a tax return using the complainant’s personal information without permission.
Friday, Nov. 15
*A resident of the 17000 block of Sunscape Drive reported the complainant’s girlfriend’s ex-boyfriend sent him threatening text messages.
*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Palisades Blvd. where it was reported that an unknown subject stole the complainant’s purse from a shopping cart while at a business. The purse was later found in the store by employees and returned to the complainant.
*The Sheriff’s Office was contacted by a police agency in New Mexico with information regarding the whereabouts of a subject with a warrant out of New Mexico. Deputies responded to an address in the 11000 block of Pinto Drive where the subject was arrested and booked into jail on the warrant.
Saturday, Nov. 16
*Deputies responded to the 15000 block of Centipede Drive where a domestic violence assault incident was reported. Charges were submitted to the county attorney for assault.
*Deputies received a report that an unknown subject stole the complainant’s cell phone while at a government building.
*Deputies responded to La Pasada Drive and El Pueblo Boulevard for a hit and run traffic collision that occurred when an unknown vehicle struck a residential mailbox then fled the scene.
Sunday, Nov. 17
*Deputies responded to Palisades Boulevard and La Montana Drive for a reported hit and run traffic collision. A driver struck another vehicle and a retaining wall then fled the area. The driver who fled was located and issued a criminal citation.
*A resident of the 15000 block of Sundown Drive reported that an unknown subject took a package from the complainant’s property.
Monday, Nov. 18
*Deputies made a traffic stop on Fountain Hills Boulevard at Segundo Drive. The driver was stopped for criminal speed reportedly traveling 61 miles per hour where the speed limit is 35. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
*Deputies responded to Shea and Palisades boulevards for a hit and run traffic collision. Deputies say the collision occurred when a vehicle rear ended a second vehicle at a traffic light. The vehicle then fled the area without contacting the other driver or exchanging information. No injuries were reported.
*A resident of the 16000 block of Edgewater Drive reported that an unknown subject used the victim’s personal information without permission to open a bank account and conduct money transfers into the fraudulent account from the victim’s personal account.
Tuesday, Nov. 19
*Deputies made a traffic stop on Palisades Boulevard and Avenue of the Fountains. According to the report the driver was stopped for an expired registration. A records check of the driver revealed that their driver’s license was suspended. The driver was issued a criminal citation.
*Deputies responded to Shea and Fountain Hills boulevards for a reported traffic collision. Deputies say the collision occurred when a driver made an unsafe lane change and struck another vehicle. No injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of Salida Drive for a reported traffic collision that occurred when a driver backed into a parked vehicle while exiting a driveway. No injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed.
*Deputies responded to Shea and Fountain Hills boulevards for a reported traffic collision that occurred after a driver suffered a medical emergency, rolled through the intersection and struck a median in the roadway. The driver was transported to the hospital in critical condition.
*Deputies responded to Shea and Palisades boulevards for a reported hit and run traffic collision. A driver reportedly sideswiped another vehicle and left the area without stopping or exchanging information. No injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed.
Wednesday, Nov. 20
*Deputies responded to Saguaro Boulevard and La Montana Drive for a traffic collision. According to deputies a vehicle failed to yield from a stop sign and struck another vehicle. No injuries were reported. The vehicles were towed from the scene.
