Fountain Hills: Sheriff's call log

Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office District 7 substation in Fountain Hills reported deputies responded to the following calls during the week from Thursday, April 25, through Wednesday, May 1.

Thursday, April 25

*Deputies responded to the 13000 block of Eagle Ridge Drive where it was reported that an unknown subject possibly stole items from the victim’s hotel room.

Friday, April 26

*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of Shea Blvd. where a subject was contacted in reference to an investigation. A records check was conducted that revealed the subject had an outstanding warrant. The subject was booked into jail on the warrant.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Shea Blvd. where it was reported that a known subject attempted to shoplift items from a business.

*Deputies responded to the 17000 block of Shea Blvd. where a subject was trespassed from the property of a business.

*A resident of the 13000 block of Hamilton Drive reported that an unknown subject took the victim’s vehicle from a residence.

Saturday, April 27

*Deputies responded to a single vehicle collision at El Lago and Palisades boulevards. Upon contacting the driver, a DUI investigation was initiated. DUI charges are pending lab results.

Sunday, April 28

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Palisades Blvd. A private property traffic collision occurred when a vehicle failed to yield leaving a drive-through striking a second vehicle. No injuries were reported. No vehicles were towed from the scene.

*Deputies responded to the 15000 block of Palisades Blvd. where a domestic violence assault incident was reported. The suspect was booked into jail.

Monday, April 29

*A resident of the 16000 block of Palisades Blvd. reported that an unknown subject damaged a political sign.

*Deputies responded to the 14000 block of Briarwood Drive where a subject was trespassed from a residence.

*Deputies responded to Shea and Palisades boulevards for a reported traffic collision that occurred when a motorist ran a red light and struck another vehicle in the intersection. No injuries were reported, and no vehicles were towed from the scene.

*A resident of the 13000 block of Fountain Hills Blvd. reported an unknown subject attempted to break into a residence but was stopped by the homeowner and fled the area.

Tuesday, April 30

*Deputies made a traffic stop on Saguaro and Kingstree boulevards where the motorist was stopped for speeding 54 miles per hour where the speed limit is 35. A check of records revealed an outstanding warrant for the driver. The driver was booked into jail on the warrant.

*A resident of the 9000 block of Firebrick Drive reported that an acquaintance took the victim’s wallet while visiting the victim’s residence.

Wednesday, May 1

*A resident of the 16000 block of Westby Drive reported that an unknown subject took the victim’s electric bicycle from a residence.

*Deputies responded to the 16000 block of Parkview Ave. where a subject was contacted and found to be in physical control of a motor vehicle after a DUI investigation. Charges are pending lab results.
