Although not all ballots have been counted, initial election results show Fountain Hills Unified School District voters weighing whether to continue the district's Maintenance and Operations override.
As of 8 p.m. on Nov. 3, the measure has received 6,090 yes votes equalling 57.98% of total votes tabulated and 4,414 no votes equalling 42.02% of the total votes counted so far, according to Maricopa County’s unofficial results.
The ballot measure asks voters to renew the district's existing 15% M&O override for another seven years. The override provides approximately $1.2 million annually to support the district's operating budget.
