The Fountain Hills Protect Our Youth Coalition is partnering with the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office and Fountain Hills Sanitary District for National Prescription Drug Take Back Day on Saturday, Oct. 24,  10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Residents can bring eligible, unwanted medications to Fountain Hills Town Hall or the MCSO office at 16705 E. Avenue of the Fountains, near the parking lot entrance, for safe disposal, according to a press release.

Pills should be placed in clear plastic bags. Sharps, creams and liquids will not be accepted.
