Fountain Hills Fire Department responds to gas line break

Construction in area of Adero Canyon

Fountain Hills Fire Department is reporting that emergency units from Fountain Hills, Fort McDowell, Scottsdale Fire (Haz Mat Team), and MCSO are on the scene or responding to a 3” natural gas line fracture at a construction site in the area of Adero Canyon.

Due to the potential hazard, access is being restricted and the construction workers are being evacuated from the immediate area.

There is no current danger to any occupied homes in the area. Southwest gas is on scene. Fire units are  supporting their team as the leak is secured.
