The Town of Fountain Hills is accepting applications for boards and commissions through 6 p.m. Oct. 23, according to a release.
There are two seats on the Community Services Advisory Commission. One is the commission, which is a three-year term, while the other is a youth commissioner with term dates undetermined. This commission works in support of the town’s community services department to enchance the quality of life for residents. Meetings are generally held 5 p.m. on the fourth Monday of each month in the town hall chambers.
There are two positions open on the History and Culture Advisory Commission. Both positions are commissioners, though one is a three-year term beginning Nov. 1 and ending October 2029 while the other is a partial term beginning Nov. 1 through Oct. 31, 2028. Those interested in local history, cultural preservation, research and community are encouraged to apply. Meetings are generally held 4 p.m. on the first Wednesday of each month in the town hall chambers.
