Over 80 volunteers moved 94 tons of stone around Fountain Hills Middle School and the district office in record time on Saturday, April 27.
The Fountain Hills Community Beautification Day of Service was organized by the Four Peaks Rotary Club and Todd Harris, consultant for Fountain Hills Unified School District (FHUSD) and past president of Four Peaks Rotary.
Harris had anticipated the decorative stone moving could take as much as three hours, but community members were finished with phase one in just over an hour.
