Deputies responded to the 14000 block of E. Cholula Drive where it was reported an unknown subject posing as a bank employee fraudulently coerced the victim into transferring approximately $43,000 to an unknown bank account on Wednesday, Sept. 2. Residents are reminded to exercise caution and not provide personal information over the phone. If a bank or other entity (such as a utility provider) calls requesting such information, end the conversation, look up the phone number for the bank/company and call them back directly.
