The early-bird discount deadline for Fountain Hills Theater’s summer camps is Tuesday, May 2.

The annual summer camps get underway May 30 and continue through Aug. 4. There are five unique sessions offered for ages six to 14. All camps are open to all ages. The early-bird discount is $25.

A four-day camp after Memorial Day opens the summer. “Comedy, Fun and Games” will be featured Tuesday through Friday, May 30 to June 2. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enrollment is $150 per child.

Theater summer camp early registration discount May 2

The early-bird discount deadline for Fountain Hills Theater’s summer camps is Tuesday, May 2.

The annual summer camps get underway May 30 and continue through Aug. 4. There are five unique sessions offered for ages six to 14. All camps are open to all ages. The early-bird discount is $25.

A four-day camp after Memorial Day opens the summer. “Comedy, Fun and Games” will be featured Tuesday through Friday, May 30 to June 2. Hours are from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Enrollment is $150 per child.

Session II, “Willy Wonka Kids,” is from June 5-16. Half-day is available from 9 a.m. to noon for $175; and full-day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. is $350. Participants will perform in the musical Willy Wonka Kids, which has fun parts for performers of all experience levels. Shows will be at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

Audition methods will be featured in Session III June 19-30. Half-day sessions are from 9 a.m. to noon and are $175. Full days are 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and are $350. Students will learn how to develop an audition monologue, song and resume and have a headshot done to be used at any theater.

Session IV is “Cinderella Kids,” enabling students to perform in a production. Session IV is from July 10-21. Half days are 9 a.m. to noon and are $175; full days, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., $350.

“Acting and Improvisation” will be featured in Session V July 24 through Aug. 4. Half days are 9 a.m. to noon for $175; full days, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., $350. Participants will improve their acting skills and learn the art of improv.

Camps I and V will be held at Fountain Hills Kiwanis Activity Center, 16957 E. Kiwanis Drive. Camps II and IV will be held at Fountain Hills Theater, 11445 N. Saguaro Blvd. In Camp III, the first week will take place at the Kiwanis Activity Center and week two will take place at the theater.
