OPINION — So, Vice Mayor Skillicorn is championing the town resolution to cooperate with ICE so they can help “protect Fountain Hills from violent, criminal illegal aliens.” I know when I go into Safeway, I always have my guard up to make sure there isn’t anybody suspicious who might cause me harm.
For example, my fellow senior citizens or the hardworking Native American and Latinos who live and work here and are an integral part of our community. Oh, I don’t want to forget the occasional homeless person.
I guess that’s why the vice mayor thinks we need Trump’s ICE to trample on our civil liberties. Unfortunately, Minneapolis has exposed their complete disregard for the law.
