State awards $9,700 to Fountain Hills Theater

Arizona Commission on the Arts supports local theater

The Arizona Commission on the Arts recently awarded a Creative Capacity Grant of $9,700 to the Fountain Hills Theater as part of its statewide support of Arizona’s arts and culture sector.

Fountain Hills Theater (FHT) was one of 369 total grant award recipients including museums, rural arts centers and more, according to a press release.

The total amount of grants awarded for Fiscal Year 2025 was $2,403,110,  approximately 40% less than last year’s $5 million due to state budget challenges.
