'Spamalot' frolics on stage Friday

Monty Python’s “Spamalot,” lovingly ripped off from the classic film comedy, Monty Python and the Holy Grail, is the legendary tale of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, along with showgirls, killer rabbits and French people.

Back by popular demand, it returns to the Fountain Hills Theater’s mainstage from Friday, Feb. 21, through March 16.

In his quest for the Holy Grail, King Arthur and his knights encounter all sorts of strange people including debating sentries, taunting French guards, the glamorous Lady of the Lake and her Laker Girls, the Knights who say “ni” and the Black Knight who refuses to accept defeat.
