Fountain Hills Theater is hosting the Arizona Young Actors Alliance as members present She Kills Monsters, July 28-30.
Performances are Friday and Saturday, July 28 and 29, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, July 30, at 2 p.m. The Arizona Young Actors Alliance (AYAA) will perform its first full-length production in Fountain Hills.
She Kills Monsters is a daring comedy by Qui Nguyen which tells the story of Agnes Evans, following the death of her teenage sister, Tilly. When Agnes finds Tilly’s “Dungeons & Dragons” notebook, she stumbles into a journey of discovery and action-packed adventure in the imaginary world that was Tilly’s refuge. Laden with homicidal fairies, nasty ogres and 1990s pop culture, She Kills Monsters is called a “high octane dramatic comedy.”
