Members of the Fountain Hills 2018 Leadership Academy class had a busy day on Thursday, Sept. 27. They started the day with a visit to The Times newspaper to get a glimpse of local history and how the weekly newspaper is put out.
They also covered public safety with a visit to the fire department and a close up look at the new ladder truck, and the Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office landed one of its helicopters at Fountain Park for academy participants to get a look at as well as learn about law enforcement operations in town.
