Hospital

Regarding the hospital zoning approval, there must be something done to curb the speeding on Trevino Dr. if the town goes through with approving a hospital on the corner of Trevino Dr. and Saguaro Blvd.

We have addressed this issue several times with the Sheriff’s Dept. and previously commissioned a study with the town. We asked to at least have speed bumps installed in various locations to slow down the speeding drivers but were discouraged by the requirements to implement these measures.

Might it be a better solution to add a hospital center where the other medical buildings are already concentrated on Palisades Blvd. or down near the intersection of Country Club and Shea on the south side? Those buildings have been mostly vacant for quite some time.
