Parents and guardians of any young girl, ages five to 18 years, interested in joining Girl Scouts are encouraged to attend Fountain Hills Girl Scout’s annual “Round-Up” information night held Thursday, Aug. 18, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Sunset Kiwanis building located at 16957 Kiwanis Drive, Fountain Hills.
Registration procedure, troop availability, troop activities and membership dues will be discussed at this meeting.
At Girl Scouts, organizers say girls are always counting onto the next adventure they will embark on together. Maybe it’s artistic. Maybe it’s an experiment. Maybe it’s getting outside or helping the community.

“Girl Scouts can do anything, the possibilities are endless,” said longtime participant Nita Blose. “Girls will find they are capable of more than they ever imagined and there is no one way to participate.”
Local ladies are invited to take the first step toward joining 3.2 million other Girl Scouts nationwide. Those interested in joining Girl Scouts but who are unable to attend the Round Up meeting can contact Nita Blose at 480-296-3101 or email nblose@arotechinc.com
