Fountain Hills Youth Theater has announced the closing production for its ’23-‘24 season, “Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical.”
With a script written by Mo Willems, the #1 New York Times best-selling creator, three-time Caldecott Honoree and Picture Book Hall of Fame inductee, “Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical” is even more fun than staying up late and having a hot dog party, a press release said.
It’s not easy being the Pigeon, never getting to do anything, but when the bus driver has a crisis that threatens to make her passengers late, maybe that wily bird can do something.
Featuring an innovative mix of songs with music by Deborah Wicks La Puma (“Elephant and Piggie’s We Are in a Play!”), “Don’t Let the Pigeon Drive the Bus! The Musical” is sure to get everyone’s wings flapping.
The musical will be held at the Fountain Hills Theater 11445 N. Saguaro Blvd., from April 26 through May 5, Friday and Saturday evenings at 7 p.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m.
