The 12th annual Sweet Corn Market continues this Saturday, June 14, at the Fountain Hills Tractor Supply Company, 17130 E. Shea Blvd.
With temperatures expected around 110 degrees throughout the weekend, this market will open early, from 7:30 to 11 a.m. and will feature freshly picked non-GMO sweet corn. There will also be tomatoes, watermelon, cantaloupe, assorted melons, squash, baby potatoes, fire-roasted chilies and more.
This Saturday is “Kids Fun Farm Day” which will feature ponies/horses, baby goats and other farm animals to pet.
Baby chicks and ducks are already inside Tractor Supply for patrons to enjoy and there will fresh flowers for kids to plant and take home during Kids Fun Farm Day.
Customers should bring their own bags to use throughout the market. If the Tractor Supply parking lot is full, use the parking lot across the street off Monterey Drive, where there are plenty of extra spaces.
There is one main entrance to the market and exit. Customers are encouraged to follow posted signage.
Vendors have different schedules over the summer, so be sure to ask vendors which week they will attend the market.
