Fountain Hills’ new trash service meeting this week

The Town of Fountain Hills, with its new trash service Universal Waste Systems, will hold a scheduled meeting 4-6 p.m Wednesday, Oct. 21, at the Community Center. This is the second scheduled meeting for residents, as the first was held on Oct.10.

Residents are invited to ask questions about changes to trash and recycling services.  The town council approved UWS as the new provider in February, and they will take over services soon.

The town is reminding residents to not make changes now and they should continue to use their current Republic Services carts until further instructions.

For additional questions or information about the transition, contact UWS 7 a.m. - 5 p.m., Monday-Friday, at 480-697-4580 or uwscompany.com.
