Three-time NAIA All-American Stefana Jelacic won the 101-pound weight class at the NAIA wrestling National Championships on March 9, 2024.
Raised in Fountain Hills, Jelacic already made history in 2019 when she won the 118-pound championship in the inaugural Arizona high school girls wrestling state championship tournament for Chandler High School.
Her NAIA national title is the first in Lourdes University (in Sylvania, Ohio) school history, and she received praise from both her school and local leadership.
