Second-year head coach Andrea Hall is optimistic about her team this upcoming season and learned a lot about her runners during her first year coaching the Fountain Hills High School cross country team.
“We have a small team this year, but we make up for it with experience,” Hall said. “We have two seniors that are great runners, athletes and teammates, Racine Homyak and Yahshua Harris. Our junior class is full of talent with our team captains, Alli Guerrette and Colby Wright. I always expect big things from them, and they always deliver.”
The Falcons’ cross country team lost a great runner when senior Skye Alker graduated, Hall continued. However, Hall believes the best is yet to come and the younger flock of runners is ready to make an impact this season.
