Fountain Hills boys basketball left in good hands

Keaton Ort leaves his own legacy behind

Senior Keaton Ort became the fourth player in Fountain Hills High School history to score over 1,000 career points this year, and another Falcon in that exclusive club earned his 100th career win as a head coach this year.

Head coach Jeff Bonner remembers being a player at Fountain Hills High School and looking up to the records and achievements of the players before him, especially Martin Ort. The Orts have left a big footprint on the Fountian Hills basketball program, and Bonner knows Keaton will leave his own legacy behind.

“He’s a great kid,” Bonner said. “As far as the example that he sets for the program and the legacy he leaves behind, I hope and I believe that it should be one that if you work hard, if you want something, you can make it happen for yourself.”
