The community is invited to the next Fountain Hills Artists’ Gallery’s weekly demonstration Tuesday, Nov. 12, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The featured artist for the event is copper artist Jim Rapisarda.
Originally from Long Island, Rapisarda’s early artwork centered around seascapes painted on wood and stone. After moving to Arizona, he began experimenting with copper and found working with metal enhanced his creativity and expression.
“I have developed a variety of applications to enhance my work and continue using copper as the focal point of my artwork,” Rapisarda said.
The gallery is located at 16858 E. Avenue of the Fountains and is open Monday through Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sundays, 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
