Thanks to a grant from the Boeing Employees Community Fund, the Fountain Hills Theater is able to take its award-winning children’s acting troupe on the road.

This outreach program is designed to entertain youths, senior citizens, community organizations and more throughout the Valley with three outstanding performance groups.

They are:

*Artist Company: This traveling performance company features an inspiring group of young vocalists whose performances are designed to delight and entertain audiences of all ages.

These performances are exciting and diverse featuring a variety of uplifting songs from Broadway and beyond.

*Beyond the Storybook: This troupe provides an opportunity for kids of all ages to enjoy some of their favorite fairy tales and fables such as, The Tortoise and the Hare, The Farmer and the Two Mules, Red Riding Hood, Goldilocks and The Three Bears.

Each tale is brought to life, with fun twists, lots of imagination and even a little interaction. This performance is entertaining for all ages but is designed for younger audiences.

*YABOY: The third troupe will be taking the award-winning YABOY troupe (young actors benefiting other youth) to Valley schools.

This 30-minute long touring play is designed to tackle tough social issues impacting middle and high school students today.

This diverse acting troupe is made up of accomplished young actors to which other teens can relate. Their richly detailed and resonant performances are intended to help students think about life choices and consequences.

The troupes are excited to perform at the following locations in the upcoming months: Fountain View Senior Living Community, Fountain Hills Library, The Idea Museum in Mesa, Sunshine Acres Children’s Home and Phoenix Children’s Hospital.
