The Fountain Hills High School varsity boys basketball 2023-24 season began with a 55-45 win at ALA West Foothills Friday, Nov. 17.
The Falcons return four players and only one starter from a team that went 25-0 in the regular season last year, but they still have high ambitions this year.
“I don’t compare any team to a team in the past,” head coach Jeff Bonner said. “We’ve graduated probably four seniors every year I’ve been here, and guys that contribute. When you do have that many guys who contribute and you graduate them, you know that you’re always kind of starting over.
