Jane Nassano is the upcoming artist to be featured at the Fountain Hills Artists’ Gallery. Nassano’s mixed media will be on display at the Gallery on Tuesday, Dec. 13, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

“My passion for recycling materials into art began while experimenting with mixed media monoprints to which I started adding bits and pieces of found objects,” Nassano said. “This grew into an obsession with collecting found objects to reuse and recycle: old, rusty things that most people would throw away, broken tools and jewelry, things found in junk drawers or thrift stores, or the alleys in my neighborhood just lying on the ground.”

With her collections, Nassano began making wall pieces and sculptures, turning recycled objects into works of art.

The Gallery is located at 16858 E. Avenue of the Fountains and is open Monday to Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Sundays 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. For more information about exhibitions, events, workshops and upcoming demos, visit fountainhillsartistsgallery.com.
