Regarding serial killer: Mr. Adler, what a wonderful letter you submitted last week regarding merciless, unfair, unnecessary slaughter of animals for sport.
I do not know what Ms. Jones has killed to prompt you to express your opinion, but you are so correct in doing so. Two years ago The Times displayed a picture of another female teenager showing her with two bear cubs that she and her brother murdered with rifles and scopes (of course).
Man used to slaughter animals for food and still do in some areas. Why for sport? Where is the sport when one is sure to win with today’s equipment? The poor animal cannot use his scent or sight defenses when the killer sits yards away. Is the meat eaten to help a family survive?

The taxidermist wins and the killer apparently by bragging about an unnecessary kill.
