I have done business in Fountain Hills for over 35 years and met and served many of you during that time. I have also been a lifelong Republican and a proud conservative that totally supports our president.
That being said, I am supporting Ginny Dickey for mayor of our town. Throughout the many years we have shared in our town, she has consistently supported issues that she felt were important to our community, not any political party. This constant painting her with a liberal brush on issues that don’t directly impact us is a distortion of what she supports for our community.
Would she have supported the four stories in the downtown? Would she have supported the lagoon? Would she have supported new signage or development we cannot support? No.
Ginny listens and wants to hear more from our residents. I have always found her to be honest in business and up front. In my line of business I have found that words and promises are cheap. The devil is in the details; can people deliver on what they promise? If I don’t deliver I make it good.
Ginny’s opponent has made promises in the past that he could not deliver, like paving our streets with grants. What other promises has he made that he cannot keep? I am proud to be an American, I am proud to be a Trumper, I am proud to be a Fountain Hills long-time resident that supports Ginny for mayor.
