Kudos and many thanks to two local nonprofits for their support to Foster Your Future. The VA Consignment Store and Bob’s Free Bikes have given a wealth of donations in regards to goods for setting up a household including furniture, appliances and clothing.
These goods go to young adults 18 and over who are on their own, out of foster care. One young lady who has been working so hard to get to a point to apply to a nursing program said to me recently, “I started to cry when I asked myself, who will attend my college graduation, and I could not think of one person.”
