Museum camp accents desert dwellers

Time Travelers Summer Camp at the L. Alan Cruikshank River of Time Museum will focus on “Desert Dwellers,” animal inhabitants in the Sonoran Desert.

The three-day experience for children between the ages of 7 and 10 will run from 1 to 3 p.m., June 11-13.

Youngsters will construct a desert animal habitat, create a food chain and track migration patterns.

Cost for the program is $40 for museum members and $45 for non-members.
