McDonald’s at 16936 E. Shea Blvd. will celebrate the completion of its remodel and new design on Saturday, May 11, by turning back prices and atmosphere to 1955 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

McDonald's reverts to 1955 prices May 11

McDonald’s at 16936 E. Shea Blvd. will celebrate the completion of its remodel and new design on Saturday, May 11, by turning back prices and atmosphere to 1955 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

A ribbon cutting ceremony is planned for 11 a.m.

Guests can enjoy 15 cent hamburgers from 11 a.m. to noon; 19 cent cheeseburgers from noon to 1 p.m. and French fries for 10 cents from 1 to 2 p.m.

All offers have a five per order limit.

Crew members and managers will wear ‘50s-themed McDonald’s T-shirts and poodle skirts.

The first 50 customers from 11 a.m. to noon will receive “Free Coffee for a Year” coupons with mugs. From noon to 1 p.m., the first 50 customers will receive “Free Extra Value Meal for a Year” coupons.

The Fountain Hills Volunteer Fire Department will be on hand, along with a photo booth/selfie station and a prize wheel for free McDonald’s merchandise starting at 11 a.m.
