Zoned C1

Senior living is zoned C1, which is modest in size, like a doctor’s office. The developers are asking for so many changes to the zoning that it is not C1. There should be a way for a person to know that zoning will not change after they invest money in their home. Five acres is not modest with 23 lights at 20 feet tall.

Our council realizes the importance of protecting existing businesses. There are two senior living facilities in Fountain Hills at this time. They need 65 percent occupancy. Three senior living units could easily put all under.

Help us keep our neighborhood and investment. At 80 years old, I never thought I would have a problem like this.
