Members are celebrating their mission of supporting nonprofit organizations and scholarships at the Wednesday, Jan. 20, meeting.
Jackie Lombardi, a 2015 scholarship recipient, will share with the club her experience visiting Guatemala gaining knowledge about their problems as she continues her studies. The club will also donate $1,000 to the FH Sheriff's Posse.

Women's Club marks 42 years with celebration

The Fountain Hills Women’s Club is marking its 42nd anniversary.
Members are celebrating their mission of supporting nonprofit organizations and scholarships at the Wednesday, Jan. 20, meeting.
Jackie Lombardi, a 2015 scholarship recipient, will share with the club her experience visiting Guatemala gaining knowledge about their problems as she continues her studies. The club will also donate $1,000 to the FH Sheriff's Posse.
The meeting will be held at the Community Center. Doors open at 11:30 a.m. Reservations may be made by calling Pat Ahren, 480-510-2306, or e-mailing her at pat3ah@aol.com, or calling Betty Jo Soelig, 480-837-6899 or at her e-mail, its.bj@hotmail.com. The cost is $20, and reservations should be made by Friday, Jan. 15.
Community members are invited to join the club as the membership starts its new year.
