High school winter sports are winding down with all Falcon squads taking part in the post season.
The boys basketball team ended the regular season with wins over Chino Valley and Northland Prep last week and, while they did not qualify for the section tournament, are set to play in the state tournament next week.
Girls basketball also bested Chino and Northland last week and are set to take part in the sectional tournament this week with a game against Camp Verde Tuesday evening. The girls basketball team is also ready to take part in the state tournament next week.

Winter post season continues

High school winter sports are winding down with all Falcon squads taking part in the post season.
The boys basketball team ended the regular season with wins over Chino Valley and Northland Prep last week and, while they did not qualify for the section tournament, are set to play in the state tournament next week.

The wrestling sectional event was postponed this weekend, but the Falcons will be ready to compete whenever their event is rescheduled.
The boys soccer team ended their run through the state tournament over the weekend with a 4-0 loss to Coronado in the quarterfinals.
As for the Lady Falcon soccer team, the girls bested Saguaro over the weekend and play Mingus in the semifinals this Wednesday afternoon.
