Winning ways for Rio Verde pickleball teams

The Rio Verde pickleball teams are competing in the Scottsdale Pickleball Club League this fall.

On Oct. 25, the RV Women’s Doubles Team won their match at Desert Mountain 5 games to 4. Competing for Rio Verde were Dru Renschler and Martha Nause, Trish Meyer and Joyce Rockwell, Vanessa Seljeskog and Dawn Meadows and substitute Mary Wagner.

On Oct. 31 the Mixed Doubles Team played Desert Mountain at home and won 5 games to 4. Playing for Rio Verde were Jan and Tyler Allison. Martha Nause and Scott Johnson, and Trish Meyer and Joe Zajac. The substitutes were Dru Renschler and Marty Teigen.

Rio Verde also won their first women’s game against FireRock Country Club in Fountain Hills with Martha Nause and Karen Breslo, Dawn Meadows and Vanessa Seljeskog, and Kris Johnson and Joyce Rockwell.
