The community is invited to enjoy a wine walk on the Avenue Friday, Oct. 13, to sip, savor and stroll through local businesses.

Presented by The Avenue Merchants Association (TAMA), participants can sample a diverse selection of Mediterranean wines which were carefully chosen to reflect the region’s rich wine-making traditions and unique terroirs.

“Delight in delectable food pairings, designed to complement the wines perfectly by local culinary artists,” a press release said.

Starting at 3 p.m., walkers will check in and begin their stroll at Grand Canyon Title Agency and peruse the shops as they go.

The cost is $20 to participate and according to TAMA, the southeast quadrant of the Avenue is the first of four wine walks coming this year.

Register for the wine walk at fhchamber.com and check in at Grand Canyon Title Agency, 16845 E. Avenue of the Fountains, Suite D-110.
